Hello

I’m desperate for a good orange cake recipe. I’ve been on line and tried about 5 so far but none seem to have a good flavour in fact I can barely taste the orange at all. Suggestions please.

Have you tried whole orange cake, orange maderia or orange drizzle yet? If you haven’t already, Mary Berry’s recipes look good. The orange flavour can be further enhanced with orange simple syrup brushed over cake layers. For a little more oranagey punch add orange liqueur to the cooled syrup.
