Oreo’s in Swiss Meringue Buttercream
Hi, I want to add crushed Oreo’s into a swiss meringue buttercream. Has anyone tried this before and did the crushed biscuits go soggy? I want to have the cake completed two days before it’s required. Thanks

I make inclusions in cakes all the time. They taste and feels absolutely gorgeous. When adding oreos or any other biscuits don’t make them too small. I make mine in small chunks so they remain firm and give a crunch. It’s a lovely way to add more flavour and texture to cake. I’ve used custard creams which have a similar texture. I’ve also jaffa cakes, mints, aero bars and maltesers in chocolate cake as few examples. They stay fine inside my Italian buttercream filled cakes.
