Hello alybongo40

Is it possible that you’re not making the paints thick enough or perhaps not loading the brush sufficiently to give an even coverage? The paint should be a loose paste consistency, not thin and runny. Mixing with vodka, pure lemon extract or food grade isopropyl alcohol I find gives best results. Try also building up the colour in layers, wait until each layer has dried before applying the next. Smaller pieces usually take colour on first application. Drying takes just a couple of minutes or less depending on the size of item being painted. Hope this helps.
