Welcome to the Cake Decorators Q&A
Hi I have a 11.5 +13 .5 tin would Paul’s recipe be ok
Hello Chris50
You would need to increase the recipe by 43% to be precise. However it will be easier to increase it by 50% for a very a slightly deeper cake. Mathematically it means mutiplying all of the ingredients by 1.5
Make sure you double line the corners of the tin as these are vulnerable to burning quickly. The bake time will increase so keep an eye and nose after the recommended 2 hrs. Sorry I can’t give you an estimated time.
