Hello, MadeitwithLove.

Baking Temp: 160C
Baking Time: 1hr 20mins

Baking pan: 8″x 2″

Hi Cin TaMaNis

I haven’t baked this cake. However, after looking at the recipe ingredients, I would be inclined to reduce the heat down to 160 for the 4” deep cakes and bake longer. This is to allow for the batter to bake steadily and set without burning. Bake for at least 50 minutes, or until you see signs of the batter setting, before attempting to open the oven to check how much longer you need to bake on.

I can’t suggest a time as all ovens vary. The best thing to do is keep an eye and nose on the complete bake until done.

For the 8” shallow tin, another 10 – 15 minutes at the given heat and time may be enough. Again, it’s best to keep gauging the doneness.

Good luck with your bake. Your feed back on timings will be much appreciated.
