Can anyone tell me what size of cake mixture to use with the wilton pillow cake pans, they talk about cups of batter but I wondered if anyone had used these tins before and what size of cake mixture they used. 🙂

I’ve had a little search around for information but can’t find an awful lot. To determine the amount of mixture each pan takes I would suggest using this method http://baking911.com/learn/substitutes/baking-pans
Please read the part which gives instructions on 2″ deep pans. I believe the pillow pans are 2″ deep so the information is revelant to your question. It’s frustrating using the cup measures but there’s always a way round it.
Have a look also on the Wilton site but be wary of their measures as some forums suggest that Wilton has made a mistake with their ingredient quantities.
