Hello Sandrabirtwistle

You can do it easily. Once you’ve made your batter separate half in another bowl and colour it pink. You’ll need to make the colour a little darker pink than you want because it will fade in the baking and become lighter.
Place the uncoloured batter in the baking pan and pour the pink batter in the centre of it. With a pallet knif or spatula swirl the pink colour into the natural to give a marbling effect, bake! This is just one way, in youtube you will see lots of video tutorial to give you a good visual idea. Search ‘how to marble cake batter’.

Use gel colours and not liquid colours to keep the batter consistency good.

Thanks i wasn’t sure what to use gel or liquid colour I’ll certainly follow your advice and try the gel.
