Pink/red streaks in my sugarpaste!??

Hi all,
Im not sure if Im going crazy but this is the second time this has happened.
I’ve been using Fondtastic and the first time I covered a cake ( all in white, I didnt mix the colour) I noticed a couple of pink/red coloured hairline streaks in the sugarpaste after I had covered the cake.
And then now, I coloured a white Fondtastic with a little of black to make a grey colour. I left it over night and there are little specks of the pink/red colour in the sugarpaste. I tried kneeding it more, but that didnt help.
The grey looks speckled with pink/red dots and some streaks ;(
Has anyone come across this?
Why does it happen and can I resurrect the coloured sugar paste before I use it?

Sorry I hope this makes sense, Im just in a frantic panic!!
Thank you x

Hello bakermum

I can’t find very much information on this sugarpaste. There doesn’t seem to be a supplier for it here in the UK,. It appears to be very popular in Australia where it has many stockiests.
If you’re you’re based overseas perhaps contact your supplier and ask for more product information, alternatively contact the manufacturer, the details must be on the packaging. Hopefully members who use this product will be able to make further comment. I’m sorry I can’t help more but if you’re in a panic I think the best thing to do is contact your supplier and let them know this has happened more than once. .See what advice they give.
Hope you get it sorted out, some feed back on any results would be helpful to other users of this paste. x
