Pricing cupcakes for a corporate event

Hi
I’ve been asked to provide a quote for 300 cupcakes for a local company that has been in business for 125 years.
They want the cupcakes decorating with 125 on rice paper.
Do I charge the normal price and x 300 or do I reduce the price of each cake to make the quote more competitive?
They also want a quote for a cake made of the figures 125. Again do I charge the normal cake charge and then x3?
I am grateful for any advice that anyone can offer!
Thank you
Rachael

Hi Rachael

Just wondering whether you are a Pro member. If you are, you could have a word with David for some advice. I’m unable to give you any pricing suggestions as this is not something that I am familar with.
I’ve googled corporate cupcakes, there are some results but most companies give prices on application. Those who do have prices are asking for £1.20 per cc for 300 hundred and over. I just thought this was a very low price especially if you place them in individual pods. I suspect these are bigger bakeries rather than small busineses. I hope members who are in business will help you out, I’m so sorry not to be of much help. x
