Red Sugar Roses

Hi everyone, I need to make some red sugar roses for the top of a wedding cake but I need them to be a blood red…can anyone suggest what to use to get a nice deep red colour either by colouring flower paste myself or buying ready made?…I noticed SK do a ready made Christmas red?!…any suggestions most welcome! x

Might not be the red you want but there are other suggested reds, one of them may be what you’re looking for.
G’d luck with it. x

Hi
i too had this problem the squires red florist paste is definately not the colour.
Better just to buy white and colour it yourself.
The PRO GELS are the best. Ruby gives a deep red colour or Claret depending on the shade you want. They also do a red colour, but think that is probable the wrong shade for you.

PS The link is for the question I asked previously, but found these colours to suit me best.
