scaled down recipe – egg quantity

Managed to access the calculator for scaling down recipies, thanks for that.
I may be being slightly thick here, but how do you measure out 3.7 eggs?! which is the scaled down proportion for the recipe.

The amount is over 3.5 so round it up to 4 eggs.

not sure if this answers your question correctly but what I do is work from the egg quantity first. so if the original recipe had for example 8 eggs, and you’ve found out from the calculator you need 3.7 eggs, I would use 4 eggs and just halve all the other ingredients so that you know the recipe has the right ratio of ingredients. Does that make sense?!
