I was wondering what is the advantage in covering the heel with black, rather than make it in black?

I was wondering what is the advantage in covering the heel with black, rather than make it in black?

Only guessing but I would say black fondant would take a lot longer to dry

Hi kiwigirl

Marcia makes lots of heels in white then dries them off ready for different projects. When a heel is required it can be easily covered with the appropriate colour. Covering this way saves a lot of drying time.
