Sticking chocolate onto sugarpaste
I am making a heart shaped cake and need to stick white chocolate fingers round the sides and maltesers on top. What is the best way to do this? Do I need to just coat in buttercream and stick on or is there a way I can cover in sugar paste and stick onto it?

Yes you can do that. For a more professional finish give the cake a double crumb coat so it’s nice and smooth then stick on the fingers and maltesers while the cake is still tacky.
