Hi aaron

It depends on what type of cake and also on the type of filling used. Sponge cakes stay fresh for approximately five days. Madeira cake for two weeks and Paul’s moist chocolate cake between five and seven days although it can go slightly longer. All providing the fillings are not fast perishables.
