Hi Esmie
I would normally say yes it would be ok providing the butter cream flowers have completely crusted over before applying. In the case of your climatic conditions I would say no unless you make decorations with high ratio shortening which can withstand much higher temperatures than butter. I know high ratio shortening is readily available in the US, although you are a long way off from there. You may be able to get it in local bakeries and cake decorating stores. It is available from Amazon, if you google ‘Hi Ratio shortening or High Ratio shortening’ you will see suppliers and more information on how the product works. Perhaps other members who live in a similar climate to yours will be able to advise better. Sorry can’t be of more help.
