Sugar paste and fondant.

This is a silly American question but I am not finding a definitive answer by just searching it online. You use the terms sugar paste and floral paste a lot. I am guessing that means fondant for sugar paste and gum paste for floral paste. Those are the two basic mediums we have here. The chocolate rose cupcake tutorial uses sugar paste so that would just be fondant, correct? I just want to make sure. Thanks!

Hello OxyJenAnd Tonic

In the cupcake tutorial Paul is using chocolate flavoured sugar paste which can be bought already made. He also says you can use modelling chocolate. If you look here http://www.cakeflix.com/questions/sugar-florist-paste Paul explains the difference between gumpaste and florist paste. If you type in the search box gum paste the are many answers to questions which inquire about all the pastes. There three pages all the questions may not be relevant to your question. Hope this helps.
