Is that a 10″ round or 10″ square recipe?
Either it makes no difference
Hi Chris, the shape makes a 20% difference for the same height cake between 10″ round and a 10″ square tin.
For a 10″ round going into an 11 x 5 same depth you’d need to reduce the mixture by 33% or a third. For a 10″ square going into 11 x 5 you’d need reduce the mixture by 45% which is slightly under half.
For the 10″ round going into a 13 x 5 you’d need to reduce the mixture by about 15%
For the 10″ square going into 13 x 5 you’d need to reduce the mixture by 35%
Please remember this assumes that you are baking a cake in tins of equal height.
You also have the option of using the cakeometre which you’ll find here

Hope this information helps.
