Topsy Turvy

Hiya
Just wont to say a big thank you to Paul for taking the time to talk to us at Cake International in London and all the pics. Absolutely fantastic guy.
I do have a question. Can you tell if there is a special card I should use at the bottom of the topsy Turvy cake and do I leave it on when stacking the cake.

Thank you

Hi demzy

Paul uses cake cards under each cake, the bottom and largest is the only one which sits on a cake drum. You can see here http://www.cakeflix.com/topsy-turvy-cake-lesson-1-creating-the-shape, how he makes the hole in the middle of the small cards so they can be mounted onto the centre dowel. Cake cards are very thin and cake drums are thick and used for displaying the cake on. Hope this helps, if I have got you wrong please post again. x
