I’ve baked date and walnut cake which is dense and carves well after maturing for a couple or three days. Most recipes are for a combo of walnut and another ingredient like coffee or chocolate. If you mean a walnut cake made with walnut meal you could make flourless cake using ground walnuts. If you google ‘flourless walnut cake recipe’ there are numerous to choose from. Also google ‘dense walnut cake recipe’.
