hi I buy plastic dowels but when cutting them their is always waste that I can never use for stacking any other cakes because their to short for the hight of the next cake is their any other option to save on wastage 🙂 xxx

Unfortunately there will always be a certain amount of waste when using any type of dowels. I use some cut off dowels as model supports. I’m sure other members will say what they do. x
