Hello MrsCreative47

The higher the coco content the stronger the ganache, but anything above 70% is very bitter. I use between 55-70% coco content and find that’s about right for flavour. If you’re making for children it is better to use milk or white chocolate.

If you go to the free section i’m sure it tells you what chocolate to use, but you need a high cocoa content i think alot of people use Asda’s cheap chocolate & it works well.
Good Luck

I searched on here the other day for some white chocolate ganache I was making and people said lil chocolate is good and cheap. I went down to Aldi and they do 200g for £1. Also, went into Tesco and they do a luxury chocolate I the baking aisle – 150g for 79p. The Aldi one had no cocoa content listed so I mixed some of that with the Tesco one which I think was about 20% ?!?
