When to and how to use a centre dowel for support
If you have a wedding cake like the rose quartz deco cake in the tutorial how would you tranport it to the venue?
If you need a centre dowel , if so do you need to have it glued to the board and then thread all your cakes, through, can be risky handeling? How would you do it safely? Please let me know thanks

Some people do use centre dowel when transporting fully stacked cakes, some people transport cakes either double tiered or as singles and then stack at the venue. A sharpened wooden centre dowel can just be driven through the all the boards of the stacked cakes or it can be constructed. Please have a look at the following link for further information:
