To save time can you advise which ready made cakes are the best to use and how do you cost a cake that’s already baked

I’ve never used ready made cakes and cannot recommend a particular company or brand. Hopefully other members may be able to share their experience. If you do use them, I would think you would charge out the price of the cake and any other expense incurred like postage or collection. Further, you would need to charge for all other ingredients required for decorating, your hourly rate, other overheads and your profit.
