Oktoberfest is that fantastic time of year where people all around the world celebrate their love for beer. It's a tradition that originated in Germany in 1810 and is a very important part of Bavarian culture. People get together to drink, eat and celebrate in style! If you didn't already know this, you do now and you have no excuse for not joining the celebrations that have gone cross-border.
So, if pork, chicken, sausages and other traditional German foods washed down with beer sound good to you, you might be wondering what could be better? As usual, we have the answer for you: CAKES!
Sugarcraft artists from all over the world, (no exaggeration here - USA, Canada, Mexico, The United Kingdom, The Republic of Ireland, Germany, France, Spain, Switzerland, Australia, Austria, Portugal, Bulgaria, The Netherlands, & Malaysia!) have all decided to come together and pay tribute to this boozy celebration by creating some amazing cakes; but don't take our word for it, check out the photos below and video above for proof!
Before we go, we have one more to show you; The Oktoberfest Beer Barrel by our very own Paul Bradford. Did you really think Paul would miss out on the fun?!
Our Premium and Pro Members can view the tutorial by clicking on the photo above. If you'd like to learn how to make this and many other incredible cake designs and are not a member, you can explore our membership options here.
