Fondant making course
Hi, I have just started of here. I’m looking for a course on “how to make fondant” . I have paid for the monthly course at the moment.
Also I want advice.. Is it easier and better to cover a buttercream cake with fondant or a fa ached cake with fondant?

There are recipes here on how to make your own fondant:
I don’t use buttercream as a crumb coat so can’t really comment on how it behaves. I do use ganache and find it gives a much sharper finish under fondant. I know through reading many different forums, more people are using ganache crumb coat for a more professional base for fondant. You could experiment with both and see which you prefer.
