Ganache or butter cream
Hi I'm making a childrens sealife cake which I'm covering with either ganache or butter cream with no fondant on top. Which would be better to make a slight wavy design and stick fish etc on. Looking forward to hearing from you Pam Clarkson.
Personally, I would use ganache. It will give a better texture than buttercream and altogether a better medium to display the creatures on. Take a peek at Paul’s fab tutorial here:
