Non-Dairy Ganache?
As I’ve had some enquiries about non-dairy cakes, I was wondering whether it was possible to substitute a soy-based cream substitute like Alpro (which has the consistency of single rather than double cream) to make a ganache with dairy-free dark chocolate. Has anyone tried this? Thanks.

I often make dairy free ganache successfully using Alpro cream substitute and a dairy free chocolate, like Kinnerton’s. Please post again if you have any more questions 🙂 hope this helps

It’s fine to make ganache with substitute ingredients. There are many alternatives ingredients which can be used other than dairy. Goldengoose has given a perfect example. For a little more information take a peek here:
