Satin Ice

Has anyone used Satin Ice. If so, what do you think?

And it’s kosher, but I think most sugarpastes are nowadays. I’ve been using Satin Ice for a long time now in the ivory. Recently I had need to use white for a 4 tier wedding cake ( 10k bucket!). It was a disaster! Ivory satin ice has a lovely elastic texture, rolls out very thin and doesn’t tear. The white on the other hand was horribly wet, stuck to everything, wouldn’t roll out any sense, was full of air bubbles, stretched and tore. NIGHTMARE!! plus it doesn’t have that gorgeous vanilla taste, or at least I couldn’t taste it. I thought it ate like chewing gum! Won’t be using white again.
