Is the paste safe to eat if you have used pencil to transfer the template as shown in Fay Cahill video?

Yes it’s safe. Pencils are non toxic, made of graphite not lead. School children use them, chew them and suck them yuk! If you don’t want to use pencil the pattern can be pricked out with a pin or gently etched with a pointed tool like the veining tool or a toothpick.
