victoria sponge course texture??
hi there, i made a victoria sponge and the texture is grainey and course also feels a little dence can you tell me what i did wrong i used butter equal parts flour, sugar butter 1kg butter, 1kg sugar, 1kg sr flour, 18 eggs

Thats a pretty big mixture to work with all at once. Problems can arise when there has been insuffcient creaming of the butter and sugar and also the emulsification of the eggs with it. What size eggs did you use? and what size cake did you make? Large victoria sponge cakes can be notorious for going wrong. I have a blog on why some things can go wrong in baking.
