I’m looking into buying the 5 day intensive course in July and would like to know if all the tools, ingredients and fondants (basically everything you will need to complete the course) is included in the £655 price. I would also like to know what flowers you will be taught to make in the sugar flowers class that is covered during those five days. Thank you.

I should think the price includes everything except accommodation. There is some information about flowers in this blog http://www.cakeflix.com/blog/new-cake-decorating-courses, although it is fairly old now and things may have changed. The best thing to do is send an email to [email protected] to get up to date information.

I have been to the intensive course. Everything is provided except accommodation. I had an absolutely amazing time – well worth the money! We made the chocolate wrap cake, the jimmy choo shoe box and lions face. We also made a fondant dog, bumble bees, a person, roses and a stargazer lily.

I would definitely recommend it! I loved it so much I am going on the wedding cake course this summer 🙂

hi Jenica, sorry for the delay in getting back to you and thank you to madeitwithlove and kirstybaird for their replies. The course includes VAT, lunches, use of tools and all ingredients. The flowers as mentioned above are stargazer lilies, roses and filler flowers.

Thank you all for your replies, I’ve booked the course now and am really looking forward to it : ) With the Jimmy choo cake, do you get to make the shoe as well as the box or just the box?

Hi Jennica, you will get to make the shoe and the box on the course with the shoe being left to set overnight. It’s always a good fun course and we look forward to seeing you in Kenmore.
