abc block cake
Hi everyone,
I am wanting to attempt to make the ABC Block cake for my baby shower which is held on a sunday afternoon. I wanted to ask if i finished off the cake on a friday and kept it away in a cool place ready for cutting on sunday is that ok? the cake wont essentally go off? (I have a pregnancy class to attend all day saturday hence cant finish the cake then and sunday I will be busy in the morning) or too risky and I should just decorate the whole thing on a saturday night instead?

Yes it will be fine. Just keep it somewhere cool and in a cake box rather than something airtight (otherwise the icing gets a bit sweaty). If you don’t have a cake box it will be fine sitting in a cool room or in a kitchen cupboard, if your kitchen is cool.
