Hi wardshar

I use vodka for painting cakes because it has no taste, it’s clear. and it dries really quickly. If you use alcohol just make sure it is 40% strength.
Rejuvenator spirit is food grade isopropanol. What is commonly known as alcohol is ethanol, which is a different chemical. However, isopropanol and ethanol can both be used as a cleaning agent and to dilute edible paints.

Hi, I also use vodka as I find that the rejuvenator spirit evaporates too quickly.
