Hi guys
I’m entering the cake international for the first time. My partner has made my stand, to make it more secure he has fitted a metsl rod through which obviously will be covered. He is putti g some rubber pads underneath to keep it stable, so my board will not be flush to table will be bout 15mm off table. Does anyone know if this will be acceptable or will it be disqualified. Appreciate any feedback.

I think there may be some height restrictions on the cakes which would include the board. I’m not entirely sure. Take a peek at their rules here:

Scroll down to the part that reads TIPS.
If you’re not completely sure, give them a phone call, I understand they are very helpful. It’s best to get everything crystal clear to avoid disqualification. Very, very GOOD LUCK. Hope you do well. X 🙂

Thanks for responding. My category says no height restrictions, but i was worried about the board being off the table. I dont suppose you have a number i can ring i can’t seem to find one.
