Rice paper will take a misting of air brushing but if it gets too wet it will become sticky and melt. In the pirate ship tutorial Paul used spray lustre on the sails and they came out very well. I don’t know anything about airbrushing and exactly how much liquid is dispensed, if it’s the same as the canned sprays you should be able to do it. Have a try on a small amount, use a dummy cake and stick the rice paper on, spray it and see what happens. That’s what I would do just to be certain. x

Hi, I’ve airbrushed on rice paper, as mwl says you do have to go gentlyso as not to wet it too much. When I bought my airbrush a year ago I was shown how to colour the rice paper first and then use a craft punch to cut out shapes.
