Chocolate ganache ingredients

Hi ,

can anyone please help me to know the quantity of cream and dark chocolate to prepare chocolate ganache to cover the fairy cake.

I go off pauls one pint of cream to 2lb of chocolate what you dont use can be stored. works well for me.

hope this helps.

If you don’t have many fairy cake to decorate and don’t want to store any left over ganache you can halve the quantity. Ganache is so easy to make so if you do run short it can easily be made up.

I’ve been told to use the 2 to 1 ratio…2 cups choc. to one cup whipping cream.

how about milk chocolate ganache??  is it the same as dark??
