hi i want to ensure i get the same colour after airbrushing so can i use my airbrush colour to mix with a little sugarpaste for a decoration. thank you

Hi Kathy,

I think using the airbrush colour may make the sugarpaste to tacky as this type of colouring is quite runny. The best option would probably be to use gel colouring, adding a little bit to the sugarpaste at a time until you reach the desired colour.

Hi Kathy,

I have just consulted with Paul, and he definately recommends NOT to use liquid food colouring from the airbrushing as it will ruin the sugarpaste.

He would advise using gel or paste colouring as a little goes a long way so the sugarpaste should keep its texture!

Sugarflair do a great range of colourings, so you would hopefully find the desired colour in their range!
