Egg sizes in chocolate cake
I want to make a 6 inch chocolate cake using Paul’s recipe and says 2 large eggs. I only have medium eggs, how many would be the equivalent ?

A large egg with shell weighs approximately 65 grams – 67 grams. One medium egg in shell weighs approx 50 – 55 grams. Weigh your medium eggs in their shells and use the closest amount to the weight of the large eggs. Don’t worry too much if it goes over by a few grams. If you don’t want to faff about weighing, just use one extra medium egg. 🙂 X
