I’ve to do my cousin’s engagement cake and I am stumped for ideas. I liked the pillow cake but I cannot work with ganache, it never works out and they don’t want it to be too rich. Any suggestions anyone?

Hopefully get the cake organised, can’t wait to see the engagement ring.

I googled ‘Engagement cake ideas’ and there are many. I particularly liked the one resembling a quilted jewellery box with the couple’s names on the lid and the ring in the middle.

Hi I made the one with the quilted engagement ring box with an edible ring and the couples name on the box lid and they loved it.
