Hi
How far in advance can you marzipan and fondant ice a fruit cake?
Would 4 weeks be ok?

Hi Sam

Fruit cakes can be iced well in advance, so yes, 4 weeks will be fine. Just keep the cake covered to keep normal dust off of it. A cake box will be good. Store it in a cool place, not in the fridge. 🙂
