Fondant letters
I am making fondant letters to stand upright on a cake, my friend is taking the letters to attach to a cake herself, what is the best way to go about this, will they stick with just some royal icing or am I better inserting small skewers into the letters. The letters will be about 7cm high and about 7mm thick.

If I was making them I would use small skewers. I think that would give a much neater finish, Royal icing could get messy.
