Hi there, I would like to have a go at making my own molds, and wondered if you could advise me on a good make and where I can obtain the materials. Thanks in advance.

I use Amazing mould putty and silicone plastique. Both have youtube video tutorials on how to use the products.

I prefer silicone plastique because it gives a longer working and cure time than the amazing moulds putty. All the information is in the links. I’ve made some lovely little moulds but it takes a bit of money and practice! There are other brands on the market which I haven’t tried, see them by googling ‘food grade silicone moulding putty’.
