Freezing a cake after genaching?

Has anyone ever attempted baking and genaching a cake ahead of time and freezing it at this stage?
And if so what were the results?

Hi holliebeth

If you put in the search box ‘freezing cake with choc ganache’ there is an answer there which may be useful to you. Cake will have to be be well wrapped to protect it from freeze burn, defrosted at room temperature still in the wrapping.
