Freezing chocolate biscuit cake

Hi. Would anybody know if it’s possible to freeze a chocolate biscuit cake. Is it necessary or is it best kept in a fridge. Thank you all.

Hi Patsy

Biscuit cake can be refrigerated or frozen. If freezing, wrap it up well in parchment paper, cling film and foil and place it an airtight box. Keep it away from strong smelling foods as chocolate takes on the odours of other food very quickly. I’ve never found the texture to deteriorate, sometimes the biscuit can become a little soft but still tastes good. It just depends what you’re using.
