Hi could somebody tell me where to get a giant pose pick I am making weightlifter cake and need one or any other suggestion would be welcome

What are you using the pick for so other sugestions can be given?

It is to use with the weight lifter model Paul inserts it into the cake for the model to fit into

In the tutorial Paul says he is using a large pick but in the tools section it’s listed as a giant pick. I think the best thing to do would be to measure the base of the model and order the pick according to it’s size. The pick is better than inserting anything else because it has barbs at the bottom which anchor in and stop any movement of the model. I guess you could also use a piece of plumber’s piping (it must be water pipe for it to be food safe). The pipe would need to be filled with some melted chocolate or royal icing so the skewer on which the model is mounted sets. Personally I’d use the pick, it’s easier, unless you already have a piece of food grade pipe to hand.
