greasy ganache

Hi, i have made white chocolate ganache three times and each time it turned out greasy and i couldnt use it. I used the 3 :1 ratio of chocolate to cream and used good belgian chocolate.Im trying to get it right cos im making the bear cake for my sons first birthday and would prefer to use white ganache. Any sugestions would be great.

Hi nigel-mellon

There is lots of help here http://www.cakeflix.com/questions/oily-ganache. Greasy ganache can be rescued, have a read, it’s informative.

I used Sainsbury’s Basics white chocolate in my first attempt and it worked okay, and also Lidl and Aldi chocolate is good too!
