Good morning

I am making a Lambourgini shaped cake for a client. Is there a way to estimate the number of portions? It will be approx 12″ x 5″ wide, but very shallow as these cars are so low to the ground, and with all the shaping I worry there may not be enough (she needs 15 portions). I’d prefer not to make a separate cutting cake or cupcakes if at all possible.

A standard 12 x 5 sheet cake will give you 30, 2 x 1 inch, fingers. So even if the cake is a little shallow, you should be able to get 15 fairly generous portions.
