Can anyone tell me how to calculate the quantity of marzipan and fondant I need to cover a 10 inch round 3 to 4 inch deep fruit cake please (Mrs Jones recipe) Thenk you.

You’ll need approximately 1.25k sugar paste, slightly less marzipan 1.5k. That’s how much I use and usually have some left over but it’s better to have more than too little. x
