Ingredients for an 8inch 3inch deep moist chocolate cake

Hi im just starting on on cake decorating the sugarcraft im not bad at its making the cakes, i think i worry to much about it, i am wanting to try pauls moist chocolate cake can anyone out there tell me the amount of the ingredients i need for an 8inch and 3inch deep cake, and what the gas mark would be..Hope you can help…

If you go to this blog http://www.cakeflix.com/blog/how-to-work-out-what-size-cake-tin-to-use you’ll see a ready reckoner or the cakeometre, you can scale the recipe down using either one of these tools. The whole recipe is for a 10″ square so you have to use that as original tin size when working out your ingredients for the size you need. There are lots of hints and tips from other members who have baked this recipe and you’ll find their comments if you look under Popular Questions. Happy baking. x
