Making Furniture Legs

Hiya
I’m looking to make some furniture (small table and possibly a chair with legs and trying to work out how best to make it stable and not likely to fall apart, and to make it look realistic. I’ve tried rolling modelling paste out thinly and feeding wire through it, but this is not always successful and it can end up looking too ‘chunky’. I also need to secure the legs to the rest of the structure. The ones I’ve tried so far are fairly small items, i.e. the table is approx 2.5″ x 1″. Any ideas would be much appreciated !
Many thanks 🙂

Try cut cocktail sticks in the legs or lolly stick. Make each section and legs separate and allow to dry at least over night before attaching all the pieces together. When I piece together I use melted candy melts to stick them all together.as it dries firm in seconds
hope this helps
